06 June 2025Subject: Examination Schedule of UGC-NET June 2025 – reg.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC NET June 2025 for (i) ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, (ii) ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and (iii) ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ for 85 subjects in CBT, mode from 25th June 2025 to 29th June 2025.
Subject wise schedule of UGC-NET June 2025 is available in Annexure – I.
The notification regarding intimation of City of Exam Centre will be displayed on NTA website:

Subject: Correction in particulars of the Online Application Form for UGC-NET June 2025.
The NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for (i) ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, (ii) ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and (iii) ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ in Indian universities and colleges.
As per the information published in Information Bulletin and Public Notice, it has been decided to provide an opportunity to make corrections in the particulars of their respective Application Forms of UGC-NET June 2025 as per the following details:

14th May 2025 to 15th May 2025 (Up to 11:59 P.M.)

All the registered candidates for the said Examination are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make corrections in their particulars, in their respective Online Application Form, if required, as per Annexure – I.
The candidates are allowed to make the corrections, latest by 15th May 2025 (Up to 11:59 P.M.). Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking or UPI.
Since, it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them, the candidates are informed to do the correction carefully, as no further chance for correction will be given to the candidates.

17.04.2025 SUBJECT: DECLARATION OF SCORES OF THE JOINT CSIR-UGC NET DECEMBER, 2024
- The Joint CSIR-UGC-NET December, 2024 for ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointmen: as Assistant Professor’, ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D. was conducted by the National Testing Agency in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on 28th February. 01 & 02nd March, 2025 in 05 Subjects at 326 examination centres in 164 Cities across the country, as per below mentioned details:

- Post exam, provisional answer keys and question paper with recorded responses of candidates were hosted LINK on the NTA website
- from 11.03.2025 to 14.03.2025 and challenges were invited from the candidates. Challenges received were verified by experts and the verified finalised answer keys were used for scoring.
- Scores of the exam are now hosted on LINK Candidates can login to the website using their application number and date of birth and view/download/print their respective Score Card.
- No Score Card will be dispatched to the candidates in hard copy by post or through e-mail.
- Merely appearing and possessing Score Card does not confer any right to the candidate for further selection.
- The eligibility criteria, self-declaration, various documents, etc. of the eligible candidates shall be verified as per norms specified in the Information Bulletin at subsequent stages. NTA does not have any responsibility towards correctness/genuineness of the uploaded information/documents etc. during the application process.
- The responsibility of NTA is limited to inviting online application, conduct of the entrance test, declaration of the scores and providing the complete data to the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) for further action at their end.
- The certificates to the qualified candidates will be issued by NTA after the declaration of the final result by CSIR.

Subject: Postponement of the UGC-NET December 2024 Examination scheduled on 15th January 2025 – reg.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC-NET December 2024 for (i) ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, (ii) ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and (iii) ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ for 85 subjects in CBT, mode from 03rd January 2025 to 16th January 2025.
The National Testing Agency has received representation to postpone the UGC NET December 2024 examination on account of Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other festival on 15th January 2025.
In the interest of aspirants, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to Postpone the UGC-NET December 2024 Exam scheduled on 15th January 2025 only. The New date of exam will announce later.
Examination scheduled on 16th January 2025 will be conducted as per earlier schedule.

Release of Admit Card for UGC – NET December 2024

Subject: Release of Admit Card for UGC – NET December 2024 – reg.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC NET December 2024 – Examination for 85 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT), mode at different cities across the country from 03rd January 2025 to 16th January 2025.
The candidates have already been intimated about the city and date of examination.
The Admit cards for UGC-NET December 2024 examination have been released. The Candidates are advised to download their Admit Card of UGC-NET December 2024 Examination (using Application No. and Date of Birth) along with the undertaking from the website
/w.e.f. 28 December 2024 and go through the instructions contained therein.
In case any candidate faces difficulty in downloading the Admit Card or discrepancy in the details contained in the Admit Card, candidates for UGC – NET December 2024, he/she can contact on 011-40759000 or email at ugcnet@nta.ac.in.

- Candidates can apply for UGC NET December 2024 through the “Online” mode only through the website https://ugenet.nta.ac.in The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
- Candidates are not allowed to fill more than one Application Form.
- Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
- Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians only, as all information/communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
