SUBJECT: Inviting Online Applications for Joint CSIR UGC-NET June 2026.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June-2026, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ in Indian universities and colleges through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The schedule of Examination activities is as follows:

Online Submission of Application Form through Website https://csirnet.nta.nic.in 27th May 2026 to 19th June 2026 (upto 11:50 P.Μ.)

Last date of successful transaction of fee through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI 20th June 2026 (upto 11:50 P.M.)

Correction in Particulars of Application Form on the website only * 22nd June 2026 to 23rd June 2026 (upto 11:50 P.M.)

Announcement of the City of Examination – Will be intimated later on website

Downloading of Admit Cards from NTA website – Will be intimated later on website

Date of Examination – 17th & 18 July 2026

Duration – 180 minutes (03:00 Hrs)

Timing of Examination Shift 1 09:00a.m. to 12:00 Noon
Shift 2 03:00 p.m. to 06:00 p.m.

Display of Recorded Response and provisional Answer Key – Will be intimated later on website

Medium of the Paper – English and Hindi

Candidates who desire to apply for the exam may go through the Information Bulletin and apply online at https://csirnet.nta.nic.in/ during the period from 27th May 2026 to 19th June 2026 and also pay the applicable fee online through the payment gateway using Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, UPI payment mode till 20th June 2026 (upto 11:50 P.Μ.).
