Sub: Inviting Online Applications for National Common Entrance Test [NCET] 2025 for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)-Reg.
The National Testing Agency has been entrusted by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) with the responsibility of conducting the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/State Universities/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges etc. for the Academic Session 2025-26.
The ITEP is a Dual Major Programme -the first major is in Education with School Specific Stage specialization and the second major is in an opted discipline.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Common Entrance Test [NCET] 2025 in 178 Cities (Annexure 1) and 13 mediums across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for the Academic Session 2025-26 as per the schedule given below:
Online Submission of Application Form – 20 February to 16 March 2025 (up to 11:30 P.M.)
Last date of successful transaction of fee through Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking/UPI – 16 March 2025 (up to 11:50 P.M.)
Correction in Particulars – 18 March to 19 March 2025
Announcement of the City of Examination -The First Week of April 2025
Downloading Admit Cards from the NTA website – 03/04 days before the actual date of the Examination
Date of Examination – 29 April 2025 (Tuesday)
Display of Recorded Responses and Answer Keys – To be announced later on the website.

Medium of the Question Papers: Drawing from the National Education Policy (NEP), the NCET 2025 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu
