SYNOPTIC INFERENCE:
◆ THE DEPRESSION over south Odisha and adjoining areas of north Andhra Pradesh & South Chhattisgarh moved westnorthwestwards with a speed of 20 Kmph during the past 6 hours and lay centered at 0830 hours IST of today, the 01st September, 2024 over South Odisha and adjoining South Chhattisgarh & north Andhra Pradesh near latitude 18.7°N and longitude 82.4°E, about 60 km southeast of Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh), 70 km northeast of Malkangiri (Odisha), 150 km northwest of Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), 190 km west-northwest of Kalingapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) and 310 km east of Ramagundam (Telangana). It is likely to move west-northwestwards across South Odisha, South Chhattisgarh & Vidarbha and weaken into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area during next 24 hours.
The Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Sri Ganganagar, Guna, Mandala, centre of depression over South Odisha and adjoining South Chhattisgarh & north Andhra Pradesh and thence southeastwards to westcentral Bay of Bengal.
THE SHEAR ZONE runs roughly along 18°N over north Peninsular India between 4.5 & 7.6 km above mean sea level.

जिल्ह्यातील रहिवाशांना व नदी काठावरील राहणाऱ्या नागरिकांना सतर्कतेचा इशारा
वाशिम,दि.१ सप्टेंबर (जिमाका) जिल्ह्यात पुढील २४ तासांत मुसळधार ते अतिमुसळधार पाऊस पडण्याची शक्यता आहे. याबाबत भारतीय मौसम व विज्ञान केंद्र ,नागपूर यांच्याकडून सतर्कतेचा इशारा देण्यात आला आहे आहे. तरी सर्व संबधित यंत्रणांनी सजग राहावे.जिल्ह्यातील रहीवासी तसेच नदी काठावर राहणाऱ्या नागरिकांनी सतर्क राहावे.
जिल्ह्यात धरणाचे गेट उघडल्यास तात्काळ नदी काठावरील गावांना सतर्कतेचा इशारा देण्यात यावा.
तालुक्यात कुठेही पूर परिस्थिती उद्भवल्यास नदी काठच्या गाव स्तरावरील कर्मचारी यांना मुख्यालयी राहणे बंधकारक आहे. याबाबत सर्व विभाग प्रमुख यांनी आपल्या अधिनस्त असलेल्या कर्मचारी यांना याबाबत सुचित करावे.
पूर परिस्थितीत जे कर्मचारी कर्तव्यावर मुख्यालयी उपस्थित राहत नसतील. त्यांचे विरुद्ध आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन कायदा २००५ नुसार कारवाई करण्यात यावी. तसेच तालुक्यात कुठेही पूर परिस्थिती उद्भवल्यास नदी काठावरील गावातील लोकांना तात्काळ सुचित करण्यात यावे. ज्या गावात नदीच्या पुराचे पाणी शिरत असेल अशा गावातील लोकांना सुरक्षित स्थळी पोहचविण्यात यावे.
सर्व अधिकारी व कर्मचारी यांनी आपले मोबाईल क्रमांक २४ तास सुरू राहतील व कोणाचेही मोबाईल क्रमांक बंद राहणार नाही याची दक्षता घ्यावी.
त्याच प्रमाणे सर्व विभागाचे नियंत्रण कक्ष २४ तास सुरू राहतील.याबाबत स्वतः अधिकारी यांनी नियंत्रण कक्षाला भेटी देऊन कर्मचारी नियंत्रण कक्षात कर्तव्यावर उपस्थित आहे किंवा नाही याची खात्री करावी. तसेच मदत व सहकार्य लागल्यास तातडीने कळवावे. असे जिल्हाधिकारी बुवनेश्वरी एस यांनी कळविले आहे.
