उपरोक्त विषय व संदर्भीय पत्रानुसार, महाराष्ट्र राज्यातील सर्व माध्यमांच्या व सर्व व्यवस्थापनांच्या शाळांतील इयत्ता ९ वी ते १२वीच्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी राष्ट्रीय स्तरावरील बँड स्पर्धा आयोजित करण्यात येत आहे. शालेय विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये एकता व देशाभिमानाची जाणीव व जागृती निर्माण करणे, बँडच्या माध्यमातून कृती, साहस आणि प्रेरणा यांचा अनुभव विद्यार्थ्यांना घेण्याची संधी देणे तसेच विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मनात देशभक्ती आणि एकता या भावनांची जागरुकता निर्माण करणे अशा उद्देशाने राष्ट्रीयस्तरावरील बँड स्पर्धांचे आयोजन करण्यात येते.
सदर स्पर्धा राज्यस्तर, झोनल स्तर (राष्ट्रीय उपांत्य), राष्ट्रीयस्तर या ३ स्तरांवर आयोजित करण्यात येणार आहे. सदर स्पर्धा सर्व माध्यमांच्या व सर्व व्यवस्थापनांच्या शाळांना खुली आहे. ज्यामध्ये CBSE, ICSE, KVS, NVS, PM- SHRI, व सैनिकी शाळा सुद्धा समविष्ट होणे अपेक्षित आहे.
राज्यस्तरीय स्पर्धेसाठी उपसंचालक, प्रादेशिक विद्या प्राधिकरण, मुंबई आणि प्राचार्य, जिल्हा शिक्षण व प्रशिक्षण संस्था यांनी आपल्या जिल्ह्यात शिक्षणाधिकारी, माध्यमिक व शिक्षण निरीक्षक यांचे सहकार्याने उपरोक्त नमूद सर्व शाळांना याबाबतचे परिपत्रक काढून प्रस्तुत कार्यालयाकडील सदरच्या पत्रात दिलेल्या लिंकवर नोंदणी करणे आणि बँडचे व्हिडीओ अपलोड करणे याबाबत सूचित करावयाचे आहे. दि.१२/११/२०२६ (वेळ-सायंकाळी ६.०० वाजेपर्यंत) पर्यंत जिल्ह्यातून नोंदणी पाठविण्याची अंतिम तारीख आहे. आपल्या जिल्ह्यांतील शाळांच्या मुख्याध्यापकांनी मार्गदर्शक सूचनांमध्ये नमूद केल्यानुसार

या लिंकमध्ये माहिती भरून व मार्गदर्शक सूचनांमध्ये नमूद केल्यानुसार पाईप बँडचा विद्यार्थी ग्रुप/विद्यार्थिनी ग्रुप आणि ब्रास बँडचा विद्यार्थी ग्रुप/विद्यार्थिनी ग्रुप अशा ४ प्रकारांपैकी कोणत्याही एका प्रकारच्या एक किंवा प्रत्येक प्रकारातील एक अशा संघाची नोंदणी करून व्हिडीओची लिंक पेस्ट करणे दि. १२ नोव्हेंबर, २०२६ सायंकाळी ६.०० वाजेपर्यंत लिंक भरणे अपेक्षित आहे. (व्हिडीओची लिंक पेस्ट करताना त्याला एडीटचा Access द्यावा.) तदनुषंगाने आपल्या अधिनस्त सर्व कार्यालये व शाळांना याबाबत सविस्तर माहिती कळवून जास्तीत जास्त शाळा व विद्यार्थी या स्पर्धेमध्ये सहभागी होतील असे पहावे. उपरोक्त विषया संदर्भात कोणत्याही कारणासाठी मुदत वाढविण्यात येणार नाही याची दक्षता घ्यावी. बँड स्पर्धाच्या विभागीय व राष्ट्रीय स्तरांवरील स्पर्धांच्या सूचना आपणास स्वतंत्ररित्या निर्गमित करण्यात येतील. सदर बैंड स्पर्धेच्या आयोजना संबंधित मार्गदर्शक सूचना सोबत जोडल्या आहेत, त्यानुसार कार्यवाही करावी.

Respected Ma’am / Siù,
This is regarding conduct of National School Band Competition among schools of States/UTs under different Education Boards as part of the Republic Day programme, 2026.
- A school band evokes a feeling of oneness, belonging and a deep sense of pride in school children towards their school and country. The rhythm of a band rouses passion, courage and action in children and adults alike. An All-India national School Band competition of this kind will help rejuvenate and rekindle the spirit of constitutional values, patriotism and unity among children in schools throughout the country and motivate them on the path of holistic education.
- The first level of the proposed National School Band Competition shall be conducted by all the States/UTs, among all the school of their respective States/UTs including schools from CBSE, ICSE, KVS, NVS, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Neta ji Subhash Chandra Bose Awasiya Vidyalaya, PM-SHRI and Sainik schools etc. This will be followed by Zonal and National Level School band Competitions. The four Winner band Groups from each Zone (Easter Zone, Western Zone, Southern Zone, Northern Zone) i.e. a total 16 band teams shall participate in the Grand Finale of the event at New Delhi in the month of January 2026.
- The expenditure for the State Level Competition will be borne by the respective States/Coordinating States. The expenditure for Zonal Level Competition upto Rs.15.00/- lakh only and for National Level competition will be borne by the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education. The Guidelines of the National School Band Competition are attached herewith for reference and necessary action.
- I would request you to ensure active participation of all schools under your jurisdiction in the competition and to direct all the concerned officials to promote/publicize the aforesaid band competition in your respective States/UTs to achieve maximum participation and adherence to Guidelines.
