१. (i) या नियमांना, महाराष्ट्र नागरी सेवा (रजा) (सुधारणा) नियम, २००५ असे म्हणता येईल.
(ii) हे नियम दिनांक १ जानेवारी २००६ पासून अंमलात येतील.
२. महाराष्ट्र नागरी सेवा (रजा) नियम, १९८.१ मधील परिशिष्ट तीनमध्ये, नियम ३ नंतर, पुढील नियम समाविष्ट करण्यात येईल :-
” नियम ३अ. अर्जित रजेची गणना.
(अ) क्षयरोग/कर्करोग/कुष्ठरोग/पक्षघात झालेल्या शासकीय कर्मचाऱ्यांना महाराष्ट्र नागरी सेवा (रजा) नियम, १९८१ च्या परिशिष्ट तीन मधील विद्यमान तरतुदीप्रमाणेच कमाल एक वर्षाच्या मर्यादेपर्यंत सलग पूर्ण वेतनी विशेष रजा मंजूर करण्यात आल्यावर, पुढील अर्ध्या वर्षाच्या सुरुवातीस त्यांच्या खाती जमा करावयाची अर्जित रजा अशा विशेष रजेच्या कालावधीच्या १/१० परंतु कमाल १५ दिवसांपर्यंत इतकी कमी करण्यात येईल.
(ब) अर्जित रजा जमाखाती टाकताना, रजेच्या अपूर्ण दिवसाचे रुपांतर नजीकच्या पूर्ण दिवसामध्ये करण्यात येईल.”

CONSTITUTION OF INDIA.
No. LVE. 2405/CR-16/SER-8.-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Maharashtra is hereby pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Maharashtra Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1981, as follows :-
- (i) These rules may be called the Maharashtra Civil Services (Leave) (Amendment) Rules, 2005.
(ii) These rules will come into force with effect from 1st January 2006.
- In the Maharashtra Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1981, in APPENDIX III, after Rule 3, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:-
“Rule 3A Calculation of Earned Leave:-
(a) In case Government servant is affected by Tuberculosis (T.B.)/Cancer/Leprosy/Paralysis and special leave is granted to him on full pay and the leave salary for such leave is regulated under normal rules then the credit to be afforded to his leave account at the commencement of the next half year shall be reduced by 1/10th of the period of such leave subject to a maximum of 15 days;
(b) While affording credit of earned leave, fraction of a day shall be rounded off to the nearest day.”.
